Feb 19 & 26 -Fused Glass Coral Bowl

Class Description

In this 2-session workshop, you'll learn how to make one 9 inch fused glass Coral Bowl! In the 1st session, you'll learn the process of cutting and assembling the glass pieces to be fused on a flat surface (2.5 hours) In the 2nd session, you'll learn the process of applying colorful glass powders which melt/fuse during the second kiln-firing (2.5 Hours). If time allows, you may make a small sun catcher ornament using the same coral bowl techniques taught in this workshop! Finished pieces will be Slump-fired in a Bowl form and ready for pickup about 7 days later. All glass, supplies, gloves, safety equipment, and tools are included.
